Surkon heavy-duty air impact sockets are designed and manufactured for use with electric, battery-powered, hydraulic, and pneumatic torque tools. The length of each socket is determined based on the support point of the torque tool to be used. If the socket is too short or too long for the tool, it may cause problems during torqueing. Sockets with incorrect lengths may not make proper contact with the support point, resulting in misalignment and jamming. This jamming prevents the tool from reaching the desired torque value and may damage the tool itself. It also poses a safety risk for the user.

 Heavy Duty Socket Production in Türkiye

Surkon heavy-duty air impact sockets are manufactured in Türkiye from heat-treated steel using CNC technology. After heat treatment, the hardness of the sockets ranges between 40-45 HRC, which is the internationally accepted standard for such products. Surkon manufactures sockets with square drive sizes of 3/4”, 1”, 1.1/2”, 2.1/2”, and 3.1/2”. Custom sockets can also be produced upon customer request.
Surkon heavy-duty air sockets are available in three different lengths:

• FI refers OAL 100 mm sockets, and
• ESI refers OAL 115 mm deep sockets.
• EDI refers OAL 130 mm deep sockets.
